Phone button switches the maxi dot to phone but doesn't answer calls. You have to press the roller-wheel thing instead. Author. Posted 12 December, 2015. When I press the phone button on the steering wheel, the message on the maxidot says "telephone not available". This despite the fact that the phone has connected to the Columbus via bluetooth.
