1. therealmyself. • 2 yr. ago. Tankiest class in the game that also does good dps is condi rev with tormenting runes. You get 2 heal skills. Trait that gives life steal, heal every time you inflict torment which is a lot of attacks. It is a lot of healing.
TL,DR: For me, guardian is stronger and more versatile, can go pretty much anywhere and work in every game mode. Warrior is more niche, but I find it more fun to play. Long version: I have about 150 hrs on Guard and Rev, and recently started playing War with about 40 hours now.

If you are looking for strictly support and looking to play one class I would say guardian, specifically firebrand. The normal builds usually dont work for leveling. But there are leveling builds like fire dagger dagger core ele summoner. You dont need to follow them and can experiment around instead but using a leveling build can make things easier. You can use an open world build for leveling.
Human pairs well with Guardian and Thief. Charr look awesome as Necromancers and Engineers. Asura look great as Engineers and Elementalists. Sylvari can be beautiful Mesmers and really awesome Warriors. Norn Warriors and Rangers are great. Revenant looks best as a Charr or Human imo. 1.
