Buffering - I would apply my regular moisturizer, then an occlusive (I recommend La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume) and then a light layer of Aquaphor before I applied the retinoid. I would say Aquaphor made the most significant difference, I wasnât waking up with red and peeling skin, just light dryness. Those who don't react will keep buying, those who do react will spend even more money trialling different moisturisers they have until they find a better fit. (Most people will stick to moisturisers from the same brand as it worked for them previously) It's malicious, and there's no other reason for it apart from money scrounging. 3. Edit to add: I have skin that dries out very easily, and my main concerns are cystic acne & dark spots. My current cleanser & moisturizer are Aveeno Foaming SA Cleanser and Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Moisturizer (also has SA). I've been on 0.025% gel for a few months but just yesterday switched to 0.05% cream and started spiro.
LRP Cicaplast only at night, a thin layer over Cerave. LRP is a little more balmy so Iâd definitely go for Cerave itâs great for my combo skin. đ. I personally use and love Cerave moisturizing cream, but I know a lot of people in these subs have experienced problems with them.
6 days ago ¡ Lipikar Wash AP+ - 15ml. This triple repair body cream moisturizer (formerly Lipikar Balm AP+) is clinically shown to reduce dry, rough skin and provides 48 hour hydration. Formulated with dermatologist recommended ingredients including La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water, Ceramide-3, Shea Butter, Glycerin, and Niacinamide.I am now on accutane and use the la roche posay one and to my surprise I don't really have any issues and it doesn't dry out my skin at all. I use the LRP IsoBiome moisturizer every second day and I feel like the cleanser is helping prevent breakouts, compared to gentle cleansers I tried while on medication.0HIv.
