It looks like La Roche Posay Toleriane Fluide Oil-Free Moisturizer has been totally reformulated. And the packaging appears slightly different as well. The new bottle has the word 'sensitive' on it. This was my favorite moisturizer so I'm disappointed it has been changed.
Love cerave micellar and the green cleanser. I like their moisturizer in the tub but it’s not amazing, so I’ve been trying out some other options especially now with tretinoin and the winter weather making my skin dry af. Their a.m. face moisturizer with the spf in it however was trash.
Hartman and Love like this moisturizer from La Roche-Posay. In fact, it's Hartman's favorite for a drugstore pick. "La Roche-Posay's Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer is by far the best one at the drugstore," Hartman says. "It gives a rich feel that is oil-free and replenishes moisture while restoring the skin's natural protective barrier." Hey, fellow Redditors! I wanted to share a skincare hack that really helped me with my dry skin. I recently started my skincare journey and bought some CeraVe moisturizer and cleanser. But guess what? They made my face burn like crazy! So, I switched to La Roche-Posay moisturizer instead. At first, the new moisturizer seemed like a miracle worker.
I recently started using this brand, La Roche-Posay and have always heard great things about them. Although I added a new moisturizer to my skin care routine probably about a month ago and have noticed more breakouts (and weirdly they’ve been lasting longer).
Buffering - I would apply my regular moisturizer, then an occlusive (I recommend La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume) and then a light layer of Aquaphor before I applied the retinoid. I would say Aquaphor made the most significant difference, I wasn’t waking up with red and peeling skin, just light dryness.
Those who don't react will keep buying, those who do react will spend even more money trialling different moisturisers they have until they find a better fit. (Most people will stick to moisturisers from the same brand as it worked for them previously) It's malicious, and there's no other reason for it apart from money scrounging. 3. Edit to add: I have skin that dries out very easily, and my main concerns are cystic acne & dark spots. My current cleanser & moisturizer are Aveeno Foaming SA Cleanser and Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Moisturizer (also has SA). I've been on 0.025% gel for a few months but just yesterday switched to 0.05% cream and started spiro.

LRP Cicaplast only at night, a thin layer over Cerave. LRP is a little more balmy so I’d definitely go for Cerave it’s great for my combo skin. 💕. I personally use and love Cerave moisturizing cream, but I know a lot of people in these subs have experienced problems with them.

6 days ago ¡ Lipikar Wash AP+ - 15ml. This triple repair body cream moisturizer (formerly Lipikar Balm AP+) is clinically shown to reduce dry, rough skin and provides 48 hour hydration. Formulated with dermatologist recommended ingredients including La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water, Ceramide-3, Shea Butter, Glycerin, and Niacinamide.
I’ll say the sun screen is quite good, doesn’t leave white cast, for moisturisers I’ll say go for aveeno if your skin type is dry because you’re gonna be a desert once you start on Accutane, and please drink a lot of water, you’re going to pee a lot but keeping hydrated helps your skin- ps: orange juice isn’t water😂
La Roche-Posay vs. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid. When comparing hyaluronic acid products from La Roche-Posay and The Ordinary, the contrasts lie primarily in the formulation complexity, clinical backing, and price point. La Roche-Posay’s Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum not only contains hyaluronic acid for hydration but is also enriched But on the other hand I know people who solved their acne with this product. For me personally, La Roche-Posay is usually a no (except for Cicablast) but maybe your skin might be different. Try using it for a few weeks and if you don't see any improvement maybe you should cut it. 1.
I am now on accutane and use the la roche posay one and to my surprise I don't really have any issues and it doesn't dry out my skin at all. I use the LRP IsoBiome moisturizer every second day and I feel like the cleanser is helping prevent breakouts, compared to gentle cleansers I tried while on medication.
